The duvet and pillow covers in this pattern are made in Jaipur to my specification of 100% crisp pure white cotton percale with handmade lace that is dyed light blue and a "hotel" bottom closure (consisting of a flap inside the cover) and ties. We derived the Blue Lace design from its plainer cousin, White Lace; it is also inspired by traditional bedsheet designs in 19th century England. This design is also made from perfectly plain percale with a 5 cm border, but in this case is separated from the main duvet cover by a blue ladder stitch lace made by hand in Jaipur and dyed a stunning shade of light blue. This very traditional style suits all decorative schemes, including modern ones. The pillow covers for this pattern are exactly the same sewing construction as the duvet covers.  
 
Please wash cold so that the blue won't run with non-bleach laundry detergent, and either machine or line dry.  These bedlinens look best when ironed.
